The Helix vase

This is totally unique, worldwide! As far as we know, no-one has ever done this before. A continuous helix of segments in mahogany and oak. 144 segmented pieces were used which to date is a world record for the most pieces in a helix vase and possibly the hardest woodturning project ever.
