Hope Woodwork has recently said goodbye to its longest serving placement. After 4 years, Mark has now gained employment as a maintenance worker for a nationwide care home and is responsible for maintenance issues in a myriad of dwellings across the South of England. And enjoying it!
In 4 years, Mark has learned a new set of skills in the workshop, has developed interpersonal skills and gained confidence to be able to teach others who are in the same life state that he was in. It was his goal to apply woodworking into a maintenance career and he had to be patient for the right job to become available.
He will be missed!
