We are very excited to announce the opening of 'The Way', the premises on Seaside Road, generously passed to Kingdom Way Trust by the Trustees of the Christian Resource Centre.
Last week saw a fantastic gathering of people who came to celebrate and remember the years of faithful service of those who ran the Christian Resource Centre. There was then an opportunity to see and hear about plans for the re-purposed building, followed by refreshments on a hot Eastbourne afternoon.
Weekend Drop-in
We have already started the Weekend Drop-in which is initially operating on two weekends each month. This provides a welcoming and safe place for the homeless and street community on Saturday and Sunday to compliment the work of Matthew25 and the Salvation Army during the week.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining the volunteer team, please get in touch. The role is to help create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where guests are served refreshments. Please visit here for more details on how to get involved or contact Graham:

Others using The Way
-We are delighted that Sanctuary Cafe are using The Way each week for teaching English.
-Warming Up The Homeless are serving a hot meal on Sunday evenings.
-The Rough Sleeping Initiative team are planning to start using it for a regular activity from July.
If you are aware of any other organisation that may be interested in using the building please let them know. It would make an ideal venue for a group activity, training or meetings.
